Dr David WALROD

 

Dr. Walrod was a former General Partner at Oak Investment Partners, a is a multi-stage venture capital firm with a total of $8.4 billion in committed capital. He has extensive investment and operational experience from the US, China, Brazil and Indochina.

Prior to joining Oak Investment Partners, Dr. Walrod was a Senior Engagement Manager at McKinsey & Company, where his primary focus was on the telecommunications, electronics and media industries.

Dr. Walrod has served on several boards of directors, including Caspian, Qsent and Wave7 Optics.

Dr. Walrod received his B.A. in Physics from the University of California at Berkeley and earned a Ph.D. in Solid State Physics at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology. He also worked as a postdoctoral fellow at the MIT Research Lab of Electronics and completed a J.D. at the Harvard Law School.
